Jakarta - Bank Mandiri subsidiary PT Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI) seeks to create synergies or business collaborations between startups and the Mandiri Group ecosystem.
Mandiri Capital Indonesia's Director of Finance, Risk Management & HR Wisnu Setiadi revealed that MCI is committed to continuing to expand its collaboration network and open access to more potential startups in Indonesia to encourage creativity, strengthen synergies, and create real impact.
"MCI has a unique mandate, bridging startups with the Mandiri Group ecosystem to bring relevant solutions. With Holding and 9 subsidiaries in various sectors of the financial industry, we continue to open spaces for collaboration that are not limited to the accelerator program. Although this is only the second batch, we believe that the synergy that has been formed can be the beginning for the opening of further synergies," he said in his statement (Friday (07/18/2025).
Throughout the program, the five selected startups were provided with intensive assistance, both from a business and technical perspective, through mentoring and networking sessions involving various experts in their fields such as The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Karna & Co. Law Firm, and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The program resulted in business collaborations, among others:
- DOOgether - Creative utilization of space as a sports facility supported by the latest technology in the MT Haryono area, Jakarta.
- GOERS - Integration of digital ticketing system at Livin' Sukha.
- Mimin - Application of AI-based chatbot as a digital learning assistant for employees.
- PrimaKu - Child growth monitoring feature that can be accessed at Livin' Sukha, as part of the initiative to increase family health literacy and access.
- TADA - Launched loyalty engine and rewards product for Bank Mandiri's branchless banking agents.
The long-term development vision of MCI is also strengthened by the commitment of partners such as AWS, who are present to provide technical and strategic support for the growth of fostered startups.
"I hope that startups under the MCI accelerator can be the pride of Indonesia and penetrate the global market. My three messages: don't be afraid to fail, build technology that is ready to scale, and maintain cost efficiency through the principle of frugal architecture," said AWS Indonesia Country Manager Anthony Amni.
